A cooperation agreement has just been signed between Ineris, the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST) and its two main subsidiaries, the Beijing Municipal Institute of Labor Protection (BMLIP) and the Beijing Computing Center (BCC). An Ineris delegation, made up of Raymond Cointe (General Manager), Hafid Baroudi (Director of Business Services and Certification) and Olivier Salvi (Ineris Development), travelled to Beijing between May 9 and May 11, 2018, with the aim of strengthening ties between our two institutions.

Ineris's relationship with the BJAST have been ongoing for almost ten years, in the fields of air quality, nanomaterials safety and biogas facility safety. The aim of this trip to Beijing was to strengthen cooperation on the following: feedback from industrial accidents, joint certification for "air quality" sensors, safety of operations in confined spaces and in polluted soils in an urban environment.
This agreement follows on from a partnership agreement signed during Pr Guo’s (the BJAST chairman) visit to Ineris on November 9, 2017.
Ineris also visited the French Embassy and the French Development Agency (AFD) in Beijing to present an overview of its business activities and identify opportunities for the Institute to gain further expertise in China.
