The Institute operates in a support role in Lebanon 22nd September 2020 Following the accident in Beirut on 4 August, the Ineris expert Bernard Piquette is currently working in Lebanon, together with the French fire brigade officer Colonel Denis Royer, to support the Lebanese authorities. This mission will make it possible to initiate a one-year support project in the field of industrial risk management. The aim is to provide expertise and technical support on the regulation of industrial facilities. It also includes plans to develop capacity in this area in Lebanon and facilitate a training program.
